Sertoma Arts Center
Sertoma Arts Center is located in the heart of Shelley Lake Park, serving as a creative destination for artists of all ages and skill levels. The center offers a wide range of visual arts programming, including painting, drawing, ceramics, metalworking, printmaking, glass, and sewing/fibers. Classes are led by professional teaching artists and are open to Raleigh residents and non-residents alike.
Facilities:
- Multiple studio spaces (ceramics, metalworking, painting, jewelry, fibers/glass)
- Three exhibition/gallery spaces (the Raleigh Room, Hallway Gallery, and Lobby Display Cases), featuring rotating shows by local and regional artists, changed every other month
- Studio membership program — available after completing a qualifying beginner-level class in ceramics, metalworking, or painting (renewal required if 5+ years since last class/membership)

Classes and programs are registered through the City of Raleigh’s RecLink system; class previews are also published in the seasonal Leisure Ledger catalog.
